Important Tips for Devotees while visiting the Shaktipeeths

  • It is customary to cover your head with a handkerchief, shawl or cap while you are in the temple. Please dress in a conservative way. Adults are expected to wear ankle-length clothing.

  • Please leave your shoes and other leather items (e.g. wallet or belt) outside the temple. An attendant will look after them.

  • Please refrain from entering the temple if you have eaten meat or have consumed alcohol or other intoxicating drinks.

  • It is extremely impolite to point you feet towards the deities while sitting or lying down in the temple.

  • Do not shout or make unnecessary noise in the temple bhavan.



Itinerary for 4 Devi Darshan in Himachal

Day 1: Amb Andaura Arrival -  Chintpurni - Bagla Mukhi - Brajeshwari Devi Kangra
As you beboard your train Vande Bharat at Amb Andaura Railway station, you will be received by our representative at the railway station. Proceed towards Chintpurni Devi Shatipeeth situated at a distance of about 21 Kms. On reaching you can freshen up at Guest House / Hotel (Charges extra).Later visit Garbha Griha & have darshan of Mata Ji.According to legend the head of Devi Sati fell at this place and is thus considered one of the most important of the 51 Shakti Peeths. The Goddess is depicted in a pindi (phallic) form at the temple & is also known as Shri Chhinnamastika Devi who takes away all the worries of her devotees. The term 'Chhinnamastika' means 'without the head'.

After darshans we will drive for 1 hour to reach Baglamukhi.  It is believed that worship of goddess Baglamukhi acts like a weapon to stop your enemy from doing harm against you. Goddess Baglamukhi also has the power of turning things into its opposite. She can turn silence into speech, ignorance into knowledge, defeat into a victory, ugliness into beauty and poverty into wealth.Later drive back towards Una railway station.In the evening board your train & return back to your desired destination with blessings of Durga Mata Ji.

In the afternoon at about 4PM we will drive for 1 hour to reach Nagarkot Brajeshwari Devi Shaktipeeth at Kangra.  The main deity of this temple is Bajreshwari Devi who is also known as Vajrayogini . She is also the incarnation of Parvati, the Goddess or Aadi Maya on the Earth. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Devi Mata Ji. In the evening we will drive for 26 kms towards Chamunda Devi.

on reaching, check in to your hotel at Chamunda Devi. Later visit Chamunda Devi, the Chamunda Devi Temple is a shrine to the wrathful form of Goddess Durga or Chamunda who in Hindu Mythology is the symbol of female power. The idol of Goddess Chamunda in the temple is considered so sacred that it is completely hidden beneath a red cloth and is kept so always. You can attend evening aarti of Mata Chamunda Ji. Night stay at hotel near Chamunda Devi.


Day 2: Chamunda -  Jwala Ji Shaktipeeth - Amb Andaura Railway Station
Check out from the hotel and after driving for 2 hours you will reach Jwala Ji Shaktipeeth dedicated to Jwala Devi- the presiding deity in the form of flames. Due to this fact, the goddess is also referred as the 'Flaming Goddess'. As per the legends Jwala Ji Devi temple is also one of the  04 Shaktipeeths in Himachal where the mouth or tongue of Devi Sati fell here at the time of self-sacrifice. Ever since, the Goddess occupied the place and she manifested in nine flames that are named as Mahakali, Annapurna, Chandi, Hinglaj, Vindhya Vasini, Mahalakshmi, Saraswati, Ambika and Anji Devi respectively. Seek the divine blessings from Jwala Mata Ji & spend some time visiting the nearby temples such as Gorakh Dibbi & Garbh Grih.
Later drive back towards Amb Andaura railway station.In the afternoon board your train & return back to your desired destination with blessings of Durga Mata Ji.
